The title comes from the Kannada saying "pustakada badanekaayi ooTakke aagolla" which roughly translated means the Brinjal (or aubergine if you prefer) in the book cannot be used to eat / cook.
I have always enjoyed the world of words from as long as I can remember and in here I try to write down my opinions about the books I read.

The world's best street and yard games
This was a joy read. Did you know there are nine types of Tag? And that the simple game of elastic we played as children might have its origins in China?
Some old and lotsa new games. I am trying to get hold of the copy for keepsakes :)
Hey..this sounds fun!! Reminds me of all the street games we used to play as kids :) I find it appalling tht kids 'these days' (I date myself saying tht!)are so hooked to video games..Bah! I think this book would come handy for lil' T..:)
